Ford India Limited launched Ford Assured , a new initiative in the used car market. This initiative is a 'first of its kind' venture, in which Ford India along with Kairali Ford will buy, recondition and sell used cars of different makes.

With this initiative, Ford India becomes the first Indian manufacturer to introduce standardized business practices to the used car market, dealing with a variety of cars made by different manufacturers. By professionally managing the used car business, Ford Assured will deliver genuine value for money and a pleasant sales experience to the customer.

Buying Standards
It's less than 4 years old and has covered less than 50,000 kms.

It's supported by clean paperwork / RTO documents.

It was not owned by more than two people.

Cars registered out of state will not be dealt with.
Cars will undergo a three-step inspection programme - a test drive, a hoist inspection and an engineering inspection.
The entire process will involve a 120 points check and a 44 points reconditioning.
Plus, all cars are checked by Ford-trained professionals and reconditioned (against manufacturer's specifications), before they come on sale.
